Create your workflow and know everything about your contacts

Understanding HubSpot Workflows 

HubSpot Workflows allow you to automate tasks like updating contacts, sending emails, or integrating external APIs. For this integration, we will:

✅ Trigger a workflow when a new contact is added.

✅ Call the GlobalDatabase API to enrich the contact with additional details.

✅ Update the HubSpot contact with the retrieved information.

Creating a New Workflow in HubSpot

Step 1: Navigate to HubSpot Workflows

1. Log in to your HubSpot account.
2. Go to Automation → Workflows.
3. Click Create Workflow.
4. Choose From Scratch and select a trigger-based workflow.

Step 2: Setting Up the Workflow Trigger

• Select Contact-based Workflow.
• Choose a trigger such as:

1. Contact is created (to enrich new contacts)
2. Form submission (to enrich contacts from a lead capture form)
3. Phone is unknown (to enrich contacts without phone)
4. Company is unknown (to enrich contacts without company)

• Click Save to finalize the trigger.
